Alt.f coworking, a Gurgaon-based flexible office space provider, took centre stage on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 23, showcasing its innovative approach to coworking solutions. The company, founded by Sarthak Chhabra and Yogesh Arora, aims to bridge the gap for micro-businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs seeking affordable, stylish, and adaptable office spaces.
During their pitch, the founders sought an investment of ₹1 crore for a 0.75% equity stake, valuing alt.f coworking at ₹133.33 crore. Their business model resonated with the sharks, emphasising flexibility and professional design. Notably, Peyush Bansal, who has used alt.f offices for Lenskart, extended a warm welcome. The founders even humorously recalled their journey—how they met at NSIT in 2010 and later transformed an OYO property into a coworking hub in 2016. This anecdote drew laughs, including from Ritesh Agarwal, the founder of OYO himself.
Despite impressing the investors with their rapid growth and market potential, Chhabra and Arora ultimately turned down an offer from Bansal. However, they left the show with valuable insights and mentorship from the sharks. “We came for more than just investment; the feedback and connections we gained here are invaluable,” the founders shared.
Alt.f coworking continues to expand its footprint, with substantial operations in Delhi NCR and strategic plans to enter Hyderabad. Their model, centred on affordability and premium design, is gaining traction among businesses seeking high-quality workspaces without long-term commitments. As competition in the coworking industry intensifies, Alt.f’s commitment to flexibility and customer-centric innovation positions it as a rising force in the sector.
