Awfis Space Solutions marks its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of reshaping workspaces in India. From one centre in 2015 to over 100 nationwide, Awfis now serves 1,500+ companies. Under Amit Ramani’s leadership, it has evolved into a tech-driven, full-service platform catering to startups, corporates, and hybrid work models.
Awfis Space Solutions has marked its 10th anniversary with a strong message of gratitude and vision for the future. In a note of thanks to customers and collaborators, founder Amit Ramani said, “For a decade, we have been transforming the way India works, creating spaces where businesses thrive, people feel empowered, and every workday is made simpler through thoughtful, customer-first solutions.”
What began in 2015 as a single coworking centre in Delhi has now grown into India’s largest flexible workspace network by number of locations. Awfis currently operates over 100 centres across 16 cities, including major metros like Mumbai and Bengaluru and Tier 2 cities such as Jaipur, Indore, and Nagpur. It offers more than 62,000 seats, supporting a broad spectrum of professionals — from freelancers and startups to large corporations.
One of the company’s early breakthroughs was its mobile app, which allowed users to book desks or meeting rooms on demand. This tech-first approach helped it carve a niche in India’s emerging flexible workspace market. Today, that commitment to digital convenience powers Awfis’ evolution into a full-fledged workspace solutions platform.
Behind this transformation is Amit Ramani, a seasoned entrepreneur and architect with global experience. After working with firms like HOK and Bank of America in the US, Ramani returned to India to co-found ventures before launching Awfis. He aimed to create more than just shared office spaces — he wanted to build a service-driven, agile platform for the modern Indian workforce.
Over the years, Awfis has expanded its offerings far beyond coworking. Through its verticals like Awfis Transform and Awfis Care, the company now provides end-to-end construction, fit-out, and facility management services. It supports remote and hybrid work needs, including mobile office setups and work-from-home solutions. The brand has partnered with premium hotels like Trident, Hyatt, and Lemon Tree to offer event and meeting spaces, adding flexibility to its service mix.
Its community-building efforts have also stood out. Awfis hosts over 500 curated events annually and offers a rewards programme with access to more than 100 strategic partners. This ecosystem has helped Awfis earn the trust of over 1,500 companies and 28,000 professionals, including global names like Tesla, which booked its first office in India at an Awfis centre in Bengaluru.
Strategic partnerships, such as collaborating with Prestige Group in 2021 to open six new hubs, have further strengthened Awfis’ position in key business zones across India.
As the company looks ahead, it doubles its commitment to innovation, flexibility, and people-first design. Its next chapter aims to serve India’s changing work culture with innovative, scalable, and community-focused spaces.
The 10-year milestone is more than a celebration — it’s a recommitment. “Your presence would mean a lot to me personally, and I hope to see you there,” Ramani added, inviting partners to commemorate a decade of reshaping how India works.
