Ques 1 – What is the business model of Awfis?
Awfis Space Solutions Limited offers flexible workspace solutions to SMEs, Startups, Entrepreneurs, Large corporations, and MNCs, catering to requirements as wide as 1 seat to 1000 seats, from one day to five years. Additionally, we offer several on-demand booking solutions, such as meeting rooms, virtual offices, and day passes, that are flexible according to your needs.
We curate supply in partnership with Landlords in a win-win managed aggregation model where we act as an operator on behalf of the landlord. Awfis’s risk-averse and asset-light business model provides space owners with increased occupancy and shares the overall benefits with them. Awfis’ growth has been remarkable due to the capital efficiency achieved through this model.
Ques 2 – What is the current scale and the traction?
Before the pandemic, our company had 50 centres in nine cities. We’ve expanded to 150 centres with 88K+ seats across 17 cities, including every significant business district.
This period also saw Awfis evolve into a comprehensive workspace solution provider offering corporate clients end-to-end solutions, including flexible workspaces, enterprise solutions, design & build services, integrated FM services, remote working services, and WFH services. Through the new normal, we evolved with shifts in demand to meet the varied needs of organisations.
With the adaptation of the hub and spoke model, we’re seeing increased demand in tier 2 cities, and we’re proud to be the only company covering seven of them. With our diverse offerings, our clientele is mixed – 40% enterprises, 40% SMEs, and 20% startups/freelancers.
Ques 3 – What can the flex ecosystem expect from Awfis in the next 12 months?
To meet the demands of the modern workforce, Awfis will continue to innovate new products, from fixed seats to executive cabins and upgraded physical workspaces.
Expanding our reach will bring us closer to building crucial interventions enabling mobility and facilitating a hybrid work culture. In the next 12 months, the focus will be on community and collaboration, and we will continue to play a central role in facilitating conversations about the future of work.
