With 700 attendees, the event highlighted India’s growing role in the industry and Berkadia’s commitment to global collaboration and innovation in commercial real estate.
Hyderabad recently hosted Berkadia’s fourth Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Symposium, a premier industry event held on March 18-19. Bringing together key players from the U.S. commercial real estate sector, the symposium attracted representatives from S&P Global Ratings, Fitch Ratings, Morningstar, DBRS, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC), and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). The event was a platform for discussions on macroeconomic conditions, emerging market trends, and the latest technological innovations shaping the CRE industry.
The two-day event welcomed around 700 delegates, offering them deep insights into the U.S. CRE market from servicers and lenders. Industry experts addressed topics such as AI in the workplace, commercial loan servicing, and fraud prevention strategies. Additionally, discussions extended to the U.S. political landscape and the potential effects of the new administration on the CRE sector.
“It makes complete business sense to host the Symposium in Hyderabad, India,” said Mark McCool, President of Berkadia Commercial Real Estate Services. “The deep bench of talent and the complexity and quality of work generated here is pivotal to ensuring that we continue to provide best-in-class service to our clients.”
