BlackRock Services India has leased 42,700 sq. ft. of office space in Mumbai’s Worli at Rs 1.1 crore per month. The five-year lease includes a 36-month lock-in period and escalations in rent over time. The office is located in the Altimus Tower by K Raheja Corp.
Global fund manager BlackRock Services India Pvt Ltd has secured a 42,700 sq. ft. office space in the upscale Worli area of Mumbai. The lease, which began on August 1, 2024, is set at a monthly rent of Rs 300 per sq. ft., totalling Rs 1.1 crore for the first eight months. The rent will increase to Rs 1.28 crore for the following four months, with further escalations of 10% in April 2026 and 5% each in 2027 and 2028.
The office space is on the 13th floor of the Altimus Tower, a prime development by K Raheja Corp’s subsidiary, Whispering Heights Real Estate. The five-year lease includes a 36-month lock-in period, and BlackRock has made a substantial security deposit of Rs 12.8 crore.
This strategic move reflects BlackRock’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence in India, choosing one of Mumbai’s most sought-after business locations to house its operations.
