Flutter Entertainment, a leading online sports betting and gaming operator, has invested $3.5 million to establish a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad’s Knowledge City, RMZ Spire. The new facility, which spans 80,000 square feet across three floors, can accommodate over 700 employees.
The Hyderabad hub will focus on various functions, including data engineering, game integrity services, HR operations, procurement, safety and security, and customer operations. “We are excited to expand our facility in Hyderabad as we continue to strengthen our presence in India,” said Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment.
Flutter plans to expand its workforce in Hyderabad by hiring additional data analytics and engineering professionals, aiming to increase headcount to 900 by 2024. The company is also committed to diversity, with 40% of leadership positions in this office filled by women by 2026.
In addition to its expansion, Flutter Entertainment is contributing GBP 30,000 in 2024 to support local initiatives in Hyderabad. The company reported $11.79 billion in global revenue for fiscal 2023, marking a 25% year-over-year increase, and generated $3.61 billion in the first quarter of FY25.
