Hanto Workspaces Expects 40% Revenue Growth Amid Rising Demand for Flexible Offices

Hanto Workspaces projects a 40% revenue increase to Rs 30 crore in FY25, fueled by rising demand for flexible offices. With 15 coworking spaces in Bengaluru, the company plans expansion and fundraising. Industry trends highlight strong growth in flexible workspaces, reinforcing Hanto’s strategic push for market leadership.

Bengaluru-based coworking provider Hanto Workspaces is poised for significant revenue growth, forecasting a 40% increase to Rs 30 crore in FY25. The surge is driven by the growing demand for flexible and managed office spaces, particularly in Bengaluru, where the company has expanded its portfolio and improved occupancy rates.

“We are likely to post a revenue of around Rs 30 crore during this fiscal year. There is a huge demand for managed flexible workspaces in Bengaluru,” said Aashit Verma, Founder of Hanto Workspaces. The company generated Rs 21 crore in revenue in FY24 and continues to capitalize on the increasing corporate preference for coworking solutions.

Currently, Hanto Workspaces operates 15 coworking facilities across Bengaluru, spanning 3 lakh square feet with a seating capacity 6,000. The company charges between Rs 7,000 and Rs 18,000 per desk, catering primarily to corporate clients. With demand rising, Verma revealed plans to strengthen the company’s presence in Bengaluru while exploring expansion into other major cities.

To fuel its growth, Hanto Workspaces is also looking to raise funds. The company had previously secured Rs 15 crore in seed funding in 2023, which helped expand its operations. “We intend to raise funds to support our expansion and future growth,” Verma stated, highlighting the company’s ambition to scale further in India’s booming flexible workspace sector.

The broader market trends support Hanto Workspaces’ growth ambitions. According to real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, India’s office market witnessed a record-breaking 19% surge in gross leasing in 2024, reaching 885.2 lakh square feet across eight major cities. Coworking operators accounted for 14% of the total leasing activity, underscoring the rising corporate shift toward flexible workspaces.

Industry experts echo the sentiment. “Flexible workspaces have truly come of age in 2024, with a significant increase in demand for flexible lease terms and managed office spaces, as companies seek agility and cost-efficiency,” said Peush Jain, MD-Commercial Leasing and Advisory at Anarock.

As businesses increasingly opt for adaptable office solutions, Hanto Workspaces aims to position itself at the forefront of this evolution, leveraging its established market presence and expansion strategy to drive continued success.
