Table Space Announces Expansion in India’s Top Cities

Table Space is set to expand its footprint in India, leasing over 2.5 MSF across Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. This move targets rising demand for flexible workspaces, with strategic leases in prime locations to accommodate the growth of multinational companies and various industries.

In a significant stride towards reshaping the landscape of flexible workspaces, Table Space has unveiled plans for a large-scale expansion across four major Indian cities. The company is set to lease over 2.5 million square feet in Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, responding to increasing demand in these urban centres.

President of Table Space, Kunal Mehra, emphasized the growth trajectory, stating, “India is witnessing high growth in the larger flexible workspace market, fueled by an influx of multi-national companies and global capability centres.” This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to growth and its role as a pioneer in managed office solutions.

In Chennai, the expansion includes securing more than 660,000 square feet of prime office space across two high-quality properties, Mapletree Global Infocity Park and a DLF facility. This move capitalizes on Chennai’s growth from a 6 million to a ten million-square-foot market, illustrating the city’s dynamic expansion in office space requirements.

Mumbai’s growth strategy involves the addition of nearly 284,000 square feet through three new Grade A leases, with plans to further expand by 500,000 square feet over the next year. Amit Banerji, CEO and Founder of Table Space highlighted the strategic significance, stating, “We are at the forefront of the flexible workspace industry, with the surge in demand for managed workspaces where Table Space is a market leader.”

Hyderabad and Bengaluru are also pivotal to Table Space’s growth narrative. In Hyderabad, the company has secured 260,000 square feet at Mindspace IT Park, with options for an additional 500,000 square feet in key business districts due to robust client interest. Meanwhile, Bengaluru’s status as a mature office market has led Table Space to lease substantial space in the Central Business District and plans for future expansion in Whitefield.

CEO and Founder of Table Space, Amit Banerji, expressed his enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “We are excited to be part of this growth story as we continue to expand our presence and provide world-class workspace solutions to our clients.” This expansion is a testament to the company’s commitment to growth and its strategic vision to position Itself at the heart of India’s economic hubs.

As Table Space cements its presence across these metropolitan areas, it underlines the importance of strategic location and premium managed office solutions in supporting the burgeoning demands of diverse industries, including BFSI, technology, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. The company’s aggressive expansion plans are set to significantly influence the future of workspaces in India, reinforcing its market leadership in the flexible workspace sector.
