Table Space has bolstered its leadership by appointing John Hogan as Chief Sales Officer, Americas, and Robert Newman as Non-Executive Chairman. These strategic hires are part of Table Space’s global expansion efforts and commitment to GCCs. The company continues to lead India’s managed workspace market, operating over 9.5 million square feet across 60+ centres.
Table Space, India’s leading managed workspace provider and Global Capability Centre (GCC) enablement partner, has appointed two strategic leaders to bolster its executive team. The new hires, John Hogan as Chief Sales Officer, Americas, and Robert Newman as Non-Executive Chairman reflect the company’s ambitious plans for global expansion and its commitment to serving a growing clientele of Fortune 500 companies and GCCs looking to establish operations in India.
With over three decades of experience in commercial real estate, John Hogan will spearhead efforts to attract clients from North America and the UK seeking to set up offices in India. Hogan has a robust track record, having closed his first real estate deal in India in 1996 and managed transactions across 50 countries. Before joining Table Space, Hogan was the managing director of real estate transactions at Accenture, where he played a pivotal role in shaping corporate real estate strategies.
Robert Newman, the newly appointed Non-Executive Chairman, comes with over 25 years of expertise in GCCs, encompassing strategic planning, financial management, and technology integration. Newman’s background includes leadership roles at Accenture and Deloitte, where he consistently delivered results in challenging environments. His experience will be invaluable in driving Table Space’s GCC enablement efforts and supporting the company’s global clientele with comprehensive service offerings.
Amit Banerji, Founder and CEO of Table Space, expressed enthusiasm about the appointments, stating, “As a pioneer of managed office spaces in India, Table Space has seen significant growth, with 41% driven by existing Fortune 500 and GCC-focused clients. With their extensive international expertise, bringing on board leaders like Robert and John is crucial for strengthening our relationships and achieving new milestones.”
The importance of these leadership enhancements is underscored by the increasing role of GCCs in India’s office leasing market. In the first half of 2024 alone, GCCs accounted for approximately 37% of the total office leasing activity in the country. To meet this demand, Table Space has also recently added Gaurav Singh as President and Ritika Sikand as Executive Director of Strategic Account Management, further solidifying its leadership team.
