Trump World Center Pune, the Trump Organization’s first commercial project in India, will feature 1.6 million sq. ft. of premium office space. Developed with Tribeca Developers and Kundan Spaces, the ₹1,700 crore project is set for completion by 2029, addressing Pune’s rising demand for high-end business spaces.
The Trump Organization is making its first move into India’s commercial real estate sector with Trump World Center Pune, a two-tower office complex set to redefine premium office spaces in the city. Developed in partnership with Tribeca Developers and Kundan Spaces, the project will span 1.6 million square feet across 27 floors in Pune’s bustling North Main Road district.
This marks the organization’s expansion beyond luxury residential developments in India, which include Trump Towers in Pune, Gurugram, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, called the venture a “milestone,” stating, “After our successful collaboration on several iconic residential projects, we are proud to launch our first commercial development in India.”
A Landmark Development for Pune
Trump World Center Pune is designed to cater to a growing demand for premium office spaces. One tower will be available for strata sales, targeting smaller office buyers, while the other will offer larger office spaces for lease. The development will also feature a high-end retail boulevard and India’s first Trump Club, an exclusive 40,000-square-foot private club.
The project carries an investment of ₹1,700 crore, with expected sales of ₹2,500 crore, and is slated for completion by 2029. Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, says, “There is a dearth of premium office buildings in India. This project will address the demand for small-sized office spaces while bringing world-class standards akin to the original Trump Tower in New York.”
Pune’s Rising Office Market
Pune’s commercial real estate sector is witnessing significant growth, positioning itself as a prime business hub. Ashish Jain, managing director of Kundan Spaces, highlighted the transformation, stating, “There is a lot of commercial development happening in and around North Main Road. It has the potential to become Pune’s Bandra-Kurla Complex.”
Industry experts predict a strong demand for office spaces in Pune, particularly from IT companies and global capability centres. Aditi Watve, president of investment advisory and capital markets at Anarock, noted, “Pune’s office market is leasing more than it’s building. Almost 80% of demand is driven by IT firms, while managed workspace providers occupy a large chunk of office space.”
With record-high gross leasing of 79 million square feet in 2024, the entry of the Trump Organization is expected to elevate Pune’s office market. As demand surges, Trump World Center Pune aims to set a new benchmark in luxury office developments, reinforcing India’s growing appetite for premium business spaces.
