WeWork India has announced two significant leases in prominent business hubs, further solidifying its position in the country’s flexible workspace market. The company has secured office spaces in DLF Cybercity, Gurugram, and DLF Cybercity, Manapakkam, Chennai, catering to the rising demand for innovative and adaptable workspaces.
Expanding Footprint in Key Business Hubs
In Gurugram, WeWork has leased two floors in Building 6, spanning 1.17 lakh square feet and providing over 1,400 desks. Similarly, in Chennai, the company has rented two floors in Building 10, covering 1.26 lakh square feet and accommodating more than 1,900 desks. Both facilities are slated to open in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting WeWork’s commitment to expanding its footprint in India’s thriving business districts.

Strengthening Presence Across Cities
WeWork India has been steadily expanding its operations across major cities. In October, the company launched WeWork 37 Cunningham in Bengaluru, a 61,000 sq. ft. centre housing 891 desks across four floors. This location features premium amenities, including white-glove hospitality and gourmet offerings from brands like Maverick and, Farmer and Nandan Coffee, catering to the evolving expectations of modern professionals.
Financial Growth and Market Leadership
WeWork India has reported robust financial growth for FY 2023-24, with a 26.7% increase in revenue to ₹1,665 crore. Memberships were a major contributor, accounting for 84% of the total revenue, reflecting a 49% growth compared to the previous fiscal year.
Operating across eight major cities, WeWork India currently provides more than one lakh desks, making it a dominant player in the flexible workspace segment.
