WeWork India Crosses 1 Lakh Members as Enterprise & GCC Adoption Surges

WeWork India has surpassed 1 lakh members, recording 33.6% YoY growth, driven by strong demand from enterprises and GCCs. With 76% enterprise revenue and rapid expansion across eight cities, the company says flexible workspaces have become core business infrastructure. Southern markets led momentum as GCC and tech-driven occupancies surged.

WeWork India has crossed 1 lakh members across its nationwide network, marking one of the company’s most significant milestones and reinforcing its dominance in the country’s fast-growing flexible workspace sector. The company reported strong 33.6% year-on-year growth in total memberships from December 2024 to December 2025, signalling deepening corporate adoption and the maturing of India’s flex office ecosystem.

Enterprises and GCCs Lead the Flex Workspace Wave

A major highlight of the year was the sharp rise in demand for the enterprise and the Global Capability Centre (GCC). Enterprise clients now account for over 76% of WeWork India’s monthly revenue, underscoring how flexible workspaces have shifted from optional real estate to essential business infrastructure. GCC revenue contribution climbed to 38%, up from 28% a year ago, making it one of the company’s strongest growth engines.

Commenting on this shift, Karan Virwani, Managing Director and CEO of WeWork India, said enterprises are no longer merely exploring flexible workspaces but adopting them as a strategic advantage. This reflects what he described as a “structural shift in how organisations approach workspace planning.”

Southern Cities Strengthen Flex Space Momentum

South India continues to anchor WeWork India’s growth story. Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai each contributed around 25% of total member growth over the past year. Bengaluru leads the charge with 80.5% enterprise occupancy and 48% GCC contribution, driven by deep technology adoption. Hyderabad has become the most GCC-intensive city, with 52.4% of its occupancy coming from global capability centres. Meanwhile, Mumbai remains an enterprise-focused market with 69.8% of demand led by corporate occupiers.

In the National Capital Region, Gurugram has developed into a hub for professional services, while Noida is quickly emerging as a strong GCC cluster, further widening the geographic diversity of WeWork India’s client base.

Nationwide Network Continues to Expand

With 68 centres across eight major Indian cities — including Chennai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad — WeWork India continues to serve businesses of all sizes, from startups to multi-city enterprises. Its nationwide footprint and premium workspace offerings have positioned it as a key enabler for new-age, distributed and tech-driven work models.

A Sign of India’s Flex Workspace Maturity

Crossing 1 lakh members underscores not only WeWork India’s strong performance but also the broader market shift toward flexible, managed office solutions. As corporates seek agility, scalability, and operational efficiency, the flex workspace model is becoming central to workspace strategy rather than a backup option. With surging enterprise demand and a rising GCC presence, India’s flexible office landscape is evolving into one of the most dynamic markets globally.
