AFC Furniture Solutions is accelerating its Karnataka expansion plans, targeting 30% revenue growth in FY 2026-27. Driven by Bengaluru’s strong office market, GCC growth, and rising demand for sustainable workplace infrastructure, the company plans to strengthen operations across key cities while expanding partnerships with developers, architects, and corporate occupiers.
AFC Furniture Solutions has unveiled an aggressive expansion strategy focused on Karnataka, positioning the state at the centre of its national growth plans as demand for modern office infrastructure continues to rise. The company is targeting a 30% increase in revenue during FY 2026-27, supported by growing activity from Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology firms, and large corporate occupiers across Bengaluru and other emerging business hubs.
Karnataka remains one of India’s strongest commercial real estate markets, accounting for a significant share of the country’s Grade-A office stock. Bengaluru, in particular, continues to attract major occupiers from sectors such as artificial intelligence, fintech, and technology services. Strong office leasing activity, expanding infrastructure networks, and the development of new commercial corridors are creating new opportunities for workplace solution providers to deliver flexible, technology-enabled, and sustainable office environments.
Riding the Wave of Workplace Transformation
Commenting on the company’s strategy, Founder Maanoj Tomar said, “The company has aligned its business strategy with the ongoing transformation of workplace infrastructure across the country.” He added that AFC aims to place its ergonomic and sustainable workspace solutions at the centre of changing office requirements as occupiers increasingly seek globally benchmarked workplace environments.
The company has already established a strong footprint in Karnataka through several large-scale projects. These include furnishing a 5 lakh sq. ft. corporate office for HDFC in Bengaluru and delivering ergonomic workstation solutions for Honda’s 1.2 lakh sq. ft. facility. AFC has also worked with managed office and flexible workspace operators such as IndiQube and WeWork, while executing Grade-A office fit-outs and interior projects across multiple Bengaluru locations.
Expansion Beyond Bengaluru
As part of its next growth phase, AFC plans to strengthen project execution capabilities, expand workforce deployment, and enhance design consultancy services across Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi, and Mangaluru. The company is also looking to deepen collaboration with developers, architects, and corporate occupiers to meet growing demand for premium office interiors and workplace transformation projects.
Tomar emphasised how workplace expectations have evolved alongside the rapid growth of GCCs and technology firms. He noted, “The scale of expansion by GCCs and technology firms in Karnataka has altered expectations around workplace design, with occupiers increasingly focusing on productivity, employee wellbeing and sustainability.”
Sustainability Takes Centre Stage
The expansion strategy also aligns with AFC’s broader sustainability goals. The company highlighted its role in furnishing Noida International Airport, where it installed more than 6,000 low-emission furniture systems across nearly 1 lakh sq. m. of space. AFC reported a recyclability rate of 66% and a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of 115.43 kg CO2e per workstation.
With a 4 lakh sq. ft. IGBC Gold-rated manufacturing facility, monthly production capacity exceeding 18,000 workstations, and ergonomic seating systems, AFC is positioning itself to capitalise on India’s growing demand for ESG-compliant workplaces. As organisations continue prioritising employee experience, wellness-focused design, and sustainable office infrastructure, Karnataka is expected to remain a critical market in shaping the next generation of workspaces.
