JLL has leased a 120,000 sq. ft. facility in Hyderabad’s Financial District to launch its second major capability centre in India, creating 1,600+ skilled roles by 2026. The new hub will deliver advanced analytics, tech-enabled solutions, and strategic operations, reinforcing India’s position as a global powerhouse in real estate innovation.
JLL has taken another significant step in strengthening its India footprint by securing a 120,000 sq. ft. facility in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The new centre—set to be operational by early 2026—will be part of JLL Business Services (JBS) and act as the company’s second central capability hub in the country. The move will add more than 1,600 skilled positions, marking a notable boost to the region’s growing Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem.
A Shift Toward High-Value Global Operations
The upcoming facility spans two floors in the Prestige Sky Tech building and reflects JLL’s transition from traditional support services to advanced, high-impact business operations. With this launch, Hyderabad will become a key node in JLL’s global Shared Service Centre network, which currently operates across six countries and employs over 6,000 professionals—half of whom are based in India.
Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Centre Officer at JLL Business Services, emphasised the strategic goal behind this expansion, stating that the company is “not simply adding office space – we’re creating opportunities for professionals to contribute to world-class operations that directly influence commercial real estate decisions across global markets.”
A Hub for Analytics, Advisory, and Technology-Driven Solutions
The new Hyderabad centre will support some of JLL’s most advanced service lines. Teams will deliver analytics-driven insights, technology-enabled business solutions, and strategic advisory functions across finance, HR, project development, lease administration, and complex enterprise processes. The facility is also designed with modern workplace expectations in mind, featuring hybrid collaboration zones, flexible seating layouts, wellness-oriented amenities, and LEED-certified sustainability elements inspired by JLL’s Workforce Preference Barometer 2025 findings.
Highlighting India’s evolving role in global operations, Dheeraj Popli, Head of Global Service Centre, India at JLL Business Services, noted that “Indian professionals now spearhead cutting-edge R&D, AI development, and complex business operations that directly influence global decision-making,” underscoring the country’s strength in both technical capability and collaborative culture.
Hyderabad’s Growing GCC Powerhouse
Hyderabad has steadily become a preferred choice for multinational firms setting up capability centres, thanks to its skilled workforce, robust infrastructure, and supportive policy environment. India’s GCC sector today hosts more than 1,950 centres that employ 1.9 million professionals—solidifying the country’s position as a global innovation partner.
Reinforcing India’s Central Role in JLL’s Global Strategy
JLL’s investment in the Hyderabad hub reflects its long-term commitment to India as a critical pillar of its global service delivery model. By expanding its capability footprint and tapping into India’s growing pool of high-value talent, the company aims to enhance its operational excellence and strengthen its influence in shaping the future of real estate consulting worldwide.
