CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. has solidified its dominance in India’s commercial real estate investment market, securing a 63.4% market share in 2024, according to MSCI Real Assets. The firm led across multiple asset classes, including industrial (68.7%), retail (64.1%), residential (100%), and land (79.2%).
Mumbai and Delhi-NCR emerged as prime investment hubs, each accounting for 23% of total activity, followed by Bengaluru (18%), Chennai (10%), and Hyderabad (8%), as per CBRE data. This achievement underscores CBRE’s strong foothold in India’s rapidly evolving real estate landscape.
Globally, CBRE retained its top spot in commercial real estate investment sales for the 14th consecutive year, with a 22% market share—outpacing its nearest competitor by 560 basis points. The firm also maintained leadership in Asia Pacific (32%), the Americas (21%), and Europe, Middle East & Africa (18%).
