DevX has secured a landmark agreement to operate a full 27-storey, 8-lakh-sq-ft Grade-A commercial tower in Ahmedabad’s Ambli-Bopal micro market — a deal valued at approximately ₹850 crore. The announcement comes alongside the company being ranked 8th among India’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026, backed by a staggering 512.79% growth rate between 2021 and 2024.
A Tower-Sized Statement of Intent
When a managed workspace operator signs up an entire 27-storey commercial tower, it’s not just a real estate deal — it’s a declaration. DevX, operating under Dev Accelerator Limited, has done exactly that, securing a long-term agreement to operate a Grade-A office tower in Ahmedabad’s fast-developing Ambli-Bopal corridor.
The numbers are hard to ignore. Over 8 lakh square feet of premium managed workspace infrastructure, a transaction value of approximately ₹850 crore, and a location sitting squarely in one of Ahmedabad’s most active commercial micro markets. For a city that has steadily grown in enterprise significance, this deal confirms that Ahmedabad is no longer just an emerging market — it’s a priority destination.
Growth That Speaks for Itself
The tower deal didn’t arrive in isolation. DevX has been recognised as the 8th-fastest-growing company in India for 2026, with a remarkable 512.79% growth rate recorded between 2021 and 2024. That kind of trajectory, sustained over three years, points to something more than market timing — it reflects disciplined expansion and consistent execution in a sector where many operators have struggled to balance scale with stability.
The recognition reinforces what the managed workspace industry has been signalling for some time: professionally managed, enterprise-grade infrastructure is no longer a niche offering. It is rapidly becoming the default choice for businesses serious about operations, culture, and scalability.
Ahmedabad Is the Epicentre
DevX isn’t just planting one flag in Ahmedabad — it’s building an entire ecosystem. Beyond the 27-storey tower, the company has multiple large-scale projects progressing across the city. Capital One is positioned to become India’s largest managed office campus in a Tier-II city, spanning 3.15 lakh sq ft with strong pre-leasing already underway from enterprise clients.
The GMDC Commercial Development adds another 4,92,000 sq ft to the pipeline, targeting enterprise occupiers across Ahmedabad’s key business corridors. Meanwhile, a dedicated 84,000 sq ft managed workspace inside Million Minds Tech City in North Ahmedabad is being developed specifically for technology, consulting, and enterprise firms.
Riding India’s GCC Wave
The broader context behind DevX’s aggressive expansion is hard to miss. India now hosts over 1,600 Global Capability Centres employing more than 1.6 million professionals, with companies across technology, financial services, and healthcare continuing to deepen their footprint. As GCC demand accelerates, so does the need for scalable, well-managed workspace infrastructure in cities beyond the traditional metros.
DevX appears to have read that shift early — and is now building the infrastructure to capture it at scale.
