WeWork India has launched a 1.1 lakh sq ft flexible workspace in Aerocity, New Delhi, offering over 1,400 desks. Marking its 17th centre in Delhi-NCR, the move reflects rising enterprise demand for premium, well-connected flex spaces as the region’s coworking market continues to expand rapidly.
WeWork India has strengthened its presence in Delhi-NCR with the launch of a new flexible workspace centre at Aerocity, New Delhi. Spanning 1.1 lakh square feet and housing more than 1,400 desks, the facility marks the company’s 17th centre in the region, reinforcing its focus on scaling in high-demand micro-markets.
Located within Worldmark 6, the centre is positioned in one of NCR’s most strategically connected business districts. Aerocity’s proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport and its access to major transit networks have made it a preferred destination for multinational corporations, global capability centres (GCCs), and enterprise occupiers.
Flex Spaces Move to the Core of Enterprise Strategy
The launch reflects a broader shift in how companies approach workspace planning. Flexible offices are no longer treated as temporary or peripheral solutions but are increasingly integrated into long-term real estate strategies.
“Aerocity is no longer just a well-connected business district; it is emerging as a strategic node for enterprise-led growth in NCR,” said Arnav S. Gusain, Chief of Supply at WeWork India and CEO of Rivet by WeWork India. He added that demand is clearly shifting toward high-quality, well-located assets that support scale and agility.
He further noted, “We are seeing a clear shift in demand towards high-quality, well-located assets that can support scale, speed, and evolving ways of working.” According to him, the strong early traction at the new centre highlights how large enterprises and GCCs are embedding flexible workspaces into their core portfolios.
Aerocity Emerges as a Key Business Hub
The choice of Aerocity underlines the growing importance of premium, transit-oriented micro-markets in shaping the future of work. With a mix of hospitality, commercial, and retail infrastructure, the location offers a complete ecosystem for modern businesses.
“At WeWork India, we are focused on expanding our presence in the right micro-markets at the right time, with the right product,” Gusain said. He added that hubs like Aerocity will play a critical role as the NCR office market matures and demand for high-quality spaces continues to rise.
The new centre is equipped with enterprise-grade amenities, including technology-enabled meeting rooms, administrative support, food and beverage options, and community programming designed to improve productivity and engagement.
Riding the Wave of Flex Market Growth
WeWork India’s expansion comes at a time when the flexible workspace sector in India is witnessing strong momentum. According to CBRE India, total flex stock has crossed 100 million square feet, with inventory tripling between 2020 and 2025.
The market now includes over 500 operators across nearly 2,600 centres. While Bengaluru leads with the largest share of flexible workspace inventory, Delhi-NCR remains a key growth market with 21–23 million square feet of stock.
Scaling a Pan-India Portfolio
Since entering the market in 2017, WeWork India has expanded across eight major cities, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai. As of December 2025, the company operates 73 centres spanning 8.2 million square feet and supports over 1.21 lakh desks.
This latest launch signals the company’s continued commitment to scaling its footprint in strategic urban hubs while catering to evolving enterprise needs. With demand for flexible, premium office spaces on the rise, developments like the Aerocity centre highlight how operators are aligning with the future of work—where flexibility, location, and experience are key differentiators.
