Ganesh Housing has launched the $1.5 billion Million Minds Tech City in Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s first IGBC Platinum-rated SEZ IT Park. Spread across 65 acres, the integrated development targets 70,000 jobs and has already recorded nearly 8 lakh sq. ft. of leasing from major global firms including IBM, TCS, Valtech, and Searce.
Ahmedabad is taking a major step toward becoming one of India’s next large technology and Global Capability Centre (GCC) destinations. Ganesh Housing Limited has officially launched Million Minds Tech City (MMTC), a large, integrated commercial ecosystem valued at nearly USD 1.5 billion, aiming to reshape Gujarat’s office and innovation landscape.
Located at Vaishnodevi Circle along the Ahmedabad–GIFT City–Gandhinagar corridor, the project spans nearly 65 acres and is planned as a mixed-use “city within a city.” The development will include around 10 million sq. ft. of Grade-A office and technology spaces, nearly 6 million sq. ft. of residential development, and another 2 million sq. ft. dedicated to retail, hospitality, and lifestyle infrastructure.
The project is expected to create more than 70,000 direct and indirect high-skilled jobs while positioning Ahmedabad as a stronger alternative to traditional office markets like Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Strong Early Leasing Momentum Signals Enterprise Confidence
Even before full-scale completion, Million Minds Tech City has already witnessed significant leasing traction. Phase 1 of the project, covering nearly 1.3 million sq. ft., has secured leasing commitments of close to 8 lakh sq. ft. from major global and domestic occupiers.
The tenant mix includes IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Valtech, Searce, Withum, Kashiv BioSciences, DevX, and APSER Life Science. The presence of technology, consulting, biotech, and coworking companies reflects growing enterprise confidence in Ahmedabad’s commercial real estate market.
Speaking at the launch, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Projects like Million Minds Tech City will not only create world-class infrastructure and employment opportunities but will also position Ahmedabad alongside the country’s leading technology destinations.”
The project is being developed in collaboration with global real estate company Tishman Speyer as project management partner and RSP Architects as design partner.
Integrated Infrastructure Designed for the Future of Work
Million Minds Tech City has been positioned as Gujarat’s first IGBC Platinum-rated SEZ IT Park, highlighting the growing focus on sustainable commercial infrastructure. The campus includes plug-and-play workspaces, large office floor plates, co-living spaces, luxury residences, hospitality developments, and employee-focused amenities.
The development also features cafés, sports facilities, recreation zones, a large gymnasium, crèche facilities, and a food court built to accommodate nearly 450 employees. Smart building systems, AI-enabled operational management, and digital-first workplace infrastructure have also been integrated into the project.

The launch also included the inauguration of GREMI City Campus, an AICTE-approved institute focused on real estate management and industry-linked workforce development. The move reflects a broader strategy to combine infrastructure, innovation, and talent creation within the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar growth corridor.
Industry experts believe the project arrives at a crucial time, as companies continue to diversify their office operations across India. With lower operational costs, improving infrastructure, and increasing institutional investment, Ahmedabad is emerging as a serious contender in India’s evolving GCC and commercial office ecosystem.
As leasing momentum continues and expansion progresses, Million Minds Tech City could become one of Gujarat’s most influential commercial real estate developments in the coming years.
