DK Vertex has leased one million sq. ft across seven centres in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, offering 10,000 tech-enabled seats and integrated business services. The company aims to redefine flexible workspaces through technology, wellness amenities, and a comprehensive business ecosystem for startups, enterprises, and global brands.
India’s flexible workspace sector is witnessing another significant expansion as DK Vertex enters the market with a 1-million-square-foot portfolio spanning seven centres in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The coworking platform is launching with 10,000 tech-enabled, built-to-suit seats designed to meet the evolving requirements of startups, MSMEs, large enterprises, and multinational corporations. Unlike traditional coworking operators that primarily focus on office infrastructure, DK Vertex is positioning itself as a business ecosystem that combines workspace solutions with operational and growth support services.
A Rs 300 Crore Bet on the Future of Work
The company, which is part of the global technology-focused Vertex Group, is backed by an investment of Rs 300 crore. Of its total footprint, 700,000 sq. ft is dedicated to workspace, while the remaining 300,000 sq. ft has been allocated to ancillary and recreational facilities. These include podcast studios, ad shoot spaces, wellness zones, recharge pods, and AI-powered concierge services. The strategy reflects a growing trend in the flexible workspace industry, where operators are increasingly creating experience-driven environments to attract and retain occupiers.
Beyond Desks: Building a Business Ecosystem
DK Vertex is also differentiating itself through an integrated digital platform that delivers a range of business support services under one roof. Clients can access IT solutions, information security services, payroll management, hiring support, analytics, account management, concierge assistance, and business networking opportunities through a single ecosystem. This model aims to reduce operational complexity for businesses while creating a more connected workplace experience.
Explaining the vision behind the venture, Gagan Arora, Founder and President of Vertex Group, said, “The inspiration for DK Vertex came from our own journey scaling businesses in India. We saw first-hand how traditional workspaces were built for occupancy, not for how companies actually operate and grow.” He further noted that companies often struggle with multiple vendors and administrative challenges, leading to inefficiencies and missed opportunities for collaboration and employee well-being. According to Arora, DK Vertex was created to address these gaps by bringing workspace and business enablement services together on a single platform.
Riding the Wave of Industry Growth
The company’s early performance suggests strong market demand. Of the planned 10,000 seats, 6,000 are already operational, and approximately 75% are occupied. An additional 4,000 built-to-suit seats are expected to become available within the next two months. The client base includes high-growth startups, MSMEs, and more than 15 Fortune 500 companies, with international brands accounting for nearly 70% of occupants.
DK Vertex’s expansion comes at a time when India’s flexible workspace industry is experiencing rapid growth. Industry estimates indicate the market will expand from USD 307.5 million in 2025 to USD 890.5 million by 2034, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 12.16%. As businesses increasingly seek agility, scalability, and employee-centric work environments, operators offering integrated workplace ecosystems are likely to play a larger role in shaping the future of office space nationwide.
