JLL India Appoints Nishant Kabra as Managing Director, Bengaluru

JLL India has appointed Nishant Kabra as Managing Director, Bengaluru, expanding his responsibilities across the city’s business lines while he continues leading Investment Sales and Debt Advisory for India. With nearly 20 years of real estate experience, Kabra will strengthen leadership across one of India’s most important commercial markets.

JLL India has appointed Nishant Kabra as Managing Director, Bengaluru, giving him an expanded leadership mandate across one of the country’s most important commercial real estate markets. In the new role, Kabra will oversee JLL’s operations across business lines in Bengaluru while continuing as Managing Director – Investment Sales and Debt Advisory, India, within the Capital Markets business.

The appointment comes at a significant time for Bengaluru, where strong office demand, technology-driven occupier activity and institutional investment continue to shape the commercial property landscape. For JLL, strengthening leadership in the city also reflects its focus on building deeper market capabilities as occupier and investor requirements become more complex.

Nearly Two Decades of Real Estate Experience

Kabra brings nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, including more than 16 years with JLL. His career spans institutional capital markets, investment sales, debt advisory, strategic partnerships, transaction management, client relationships and market development.

In his national role, Kabra leads JLL’s institutional capital markets platform, advising global and domestic investors, developers and financial institutions on investment sales, strategic joint ventures, structured capital solutions and debt advisory.

His expertise covers a broad range of asset classes, including office, retail, logistics, residential and alternative real estate. He also works with sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, pension funds and other institutional investors involved in cross-border capital flows into India.

Strengthening Capital Markets and Office Expertise

Kabra’s expanded mandate brings together his investment expertise with a broader operational leadership role in Bengaluru. This could prove particularly relevant as the city continues to attract occupiers, investors and developers across the office and wider commercial real estate ecosystem.

His experience also positions him to connect investment strategy with local market opportunities, from transaction execution and capital structuring to client relationships and business development.

Before taking on his current national leadership responsibilities, Kabra held several senior positions at JLL, including Senior Director, Local Director, Associate Director, Assistant Vice President and Manager – Investment Services. These roles provided experience across transaction execution, capital strategy, advisory and market development.

Supporting JLL’s Accelerate 2030 Strategy

JLL said the appointment aligns with its Accelerate 2030 strategy, which focuses on empowering senior talent to drive growth across key markets. Kabra’s expanded remit gives him a central role in strengthening the firm’s presence in Bengaluru while maintaining his national responsibilities.

Earlier in his career, Kabra worked with CB Richard Ellis as Manager – Transaction Management Group, building his foundation in commercial real estate advisory and transaction management.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from ICFAI Business School. With his expanded mandate, Kabra will now play a more prominent role in shaping JLL’s Bengaluru business as the city continues to evolve as a major destination for corporate occupiers, institutional capital and flexible workplace demand.
