India Welcomes a Global Benchmark in Workspace Design
For the first time, India will host ORGATEC, the globally acclaimed platform for office design and workspace innovation. Scheduled for November 4–6, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, the event marks a major milestone in India’s journey toward becoming a global hub for future-ready, sustainable workspaces.
Organised by Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd., the Indian edition of ORGATEC Cologne arrives at a time when the country’s commercial real estate market is projected to reach USD 150 billion by 2030. With flexible and tech-enabled offices driving record leasing activity, ORGATEC India 2025 aims to connect global expertise with Indian innovation in workspace transformation.
Redefining the Workplace Experience
“India’s workspace ecosystem is evolving faster than ever,” said Milind Dixit, Managing Director, Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd. “Flexible and managed office solutions accounted for 12.4 million sq. ft. of leasing in 2024, a 57.5% year-over-year surge. ORGATEC India 2025 will play a defining role by bringing together global expertise and Indian innovation to shape the next era of work.”
The event will feature over 100 leading domestic and international brands from more than 15 countries, including Haworth India, KOKUYO, HumanScale, Godrej Interio, Spacewood, Nilkamal, AFC Systems, Digilock, and Talin Modular Office Systems. Exhibitors will showcase innovations in furniture, lighting, acoustics, ergonomics, smart automation, and facility management—covering every dimension of the modern office ecosystem.
Global Leaders, Shared Vision
The exhibitor lineup underscores a global commitment to innovation and sustainability. Koji Higashiguchi of KOKUYO Co., Ltd. noted, “India stands at the forefront of a workplace revolution. The future isn’t defined by furniture alone but by environments that inspire creativity, wellbeing, and collaboration.”
Similarly, Alastair Stubbs, Country Director, Humanscale India, emphasised the ergonomic evolution sweeping across India: “Collaborative zones now make up more than 50% of modern office layouts. Our goal is to make ergonomics accessible, sustainable, and central to workplace design.”
From Framery’s smart acoustic pods and Donati’s Italian-engineered mechanisms to PARÉ’s eco-friendly wall systems and Digilock’s contactless smart lockers, each brand reflects a shared pursuit—creating workspaces that are efficient, sustainable, and human-centric.
Innovation Meets Collaboration
Supported by key industry bodies such as AESA, NASSCOM, MAIT, and the Africa Facilities Management Association, ORGATEC India 2025 is positioned as a collaborative hub for architects, designers, facility heads, and CRE decision-makers.
The event will host the Workplace Dialogues, a flagship conference that explores topics such as AI-driven workspace planning, ESG design, biophilia, and neurodesign. Alongside the Design District, Innovation Pavilion, and B2B Matchmaking Program, these initiatives will connect exhibitors with corporate buyers and startups shaping India’s next-generation office solutions.
Setting the Stage for India’s Workspace Future
As India’s office space absorption crossed 70 million sq. ft. in 2024, the demand for sustainable, tech-integrated, and wellness-driven offices continues to rise. ORGATEC India 2025 arrives at a pivotal moment—bridging global innovation with India’s dynamic enterprise growth.
By turning design into dialogue and sustainability into strategy, it’s not just an exhibition—it’s the future of work, built in India.
