Rivet by WeWork India: A New Integrated Platform Aims to Transform Enterprise Workspace Delivery

WeWork India has launched Rivet, an integrated design-and-build platform designed to streamline enterprise workspace development. By combining strategy, design, engineering, and construction under a single framework, Rivet aims to reduce project delays and cost overruns. Backed by a nationwide partner network, the platform targets large-scale, tech-enabled, and ESG-focused office developments across India.

WeWork India has introduced Rivet, a new integrated design-and-build platform designed to deliver large-scale, outcome-driven commercial workspaces. The launch signals the company’s move beyond its core flexible workspace operations into end-to-end enterprise workspace solutions.

With Rivet, WeWork India plans to streamline the entire office development process by bringing strategy, design, engineering, construction, and technology into a single delivery framework. The goal is to remove the fragmentation that has long defined traditional workspace development, where multiple consultants and contractors operate separately with limited coordination.

According to the company, this unified approach is designed to bring greater clarity, accountability, and execution certainty to enterprise workspace projects.

Solving the Fragmentation Problem in Office Development

As enterprises expand across multiple cities and adopt hybrid work strategies, workspace development has become far more complex. Modern offices are expected to be flexible, technology-enabled, sustainable, and aligned with long-term business goals.

However, the delivery ecosystem has largely remained unchanged. Responsibilities are typically divided among consultants, contractors, and project managers who work independently rather than collaboratively.

WeWork India explained that this fragmented approach often leads to cost overruns, delayed timelines, and workspaces that meet technical specifications but fall short in real-world operational performance.

Rivet has been created to close this gap by integrating the full lifecycle of workspace development—from spatial strategy and engineering to environmental branding and final commissioning—into a single unified model.

Nationwide Partner Network and Early Project Success

The platform already operates through a nationwide network of more than 250 partners, allowing enterprises to roll out projects across multiple cities while maintaining consistent quality standards.

Rivet has already delivered several projects across sectors. These include workspaces for a global leader in agricultural equipment and smart farming solutions, as well as projects at One World Centre and Embassy One (EMBARK / Embassy Group HQ).

Together, these projects span more than one lakh square feet and represent a cumulative project value of nearly ₹50 crore.

The company also noted that nearly 95% of Rivet’s engagements come from repeat clients, highlighting its focus on long-term partnerships rather than one-time project delivery.

A Business-First, Technology-Enabled Approach

Rivet has emerged from WeWork India’s operational experience of designing, building, and managing workspaces at scale. This operational insight plays a key role in shaping the platform’s delivery approach.

Every project begins with a business-first perspective, connecting strategic workplace planning directly to on-ground execution.

The platform offers a comprehensive range of services, including spatial planning aligned with workforce needs, base-build engineering coordination, ESG-integrated design frameworks, wellness-focused workspace layouts, environmental graphics, and technology-driven construction management.

Technology is central to Rivet’s execution model. Digital project management tools track safety compliance, monitor quality standards, and document construction progress in real time. This provides clients with clear visibility across budgets, timelines, and project milestones.

Strategic Move in India’s Growing Office Market

With Rivet, WeWork India is expanding its role in the commercial real estate ecosystem—from a flexible workspace operator to a full-scale enterprise build partner for corporates, developers, and institutional stakeholders.

The move reflects a broader strategy to deepen participation in India’s rapidly growing office market. Rising Grade A office supply, enterprise expansion, and evolving workplace strategies are creating strong demand for high-quality workspace buildouts.

To lead the new vertical, Arnav S. Gusain has been elevated as Chief Executive Officer of Rivet, while continuing in his role as Chief Supply Officer at WeWork India.

As organisations increasingly seek agile, technology-enabled, and performance-driven workplaces, Rivet aims to position itself as more than a contractor. Its mandate is clear: design intelligently, build responsibly, and deliver workspaces that perform from day one—and long into the future.
