SpazeOne Expands South India Presence with New Bengaluru Coworking Hub

SpazeOne has launched a 15,000 sq. ft coworking space in Bengaluru with 320 desks, targeting rising demand in Whitefield. The company plans 10 more centres across South India this fiscal, totalling 2.5 lakh sq. ft, driven by growth in GCCs, startups, and distributed work models.

SpazeOne has expanded its footprint in South India with the launch of a new coworking facility in Bengaluru. Spread across 15,000 sq. ft and offering 320 desks, the centre is designed to cater to growing demand for flexible office solutions in one of India’s most dynamic business hubs.

The new facility is strategically located to tap into demand from Whitefield, a key micro-market known for its strong technology and enterprise presence. As office decentralisation increases, such hubs are seeing a surge in flexible workspace adoption.

Demand Driven by GCCs and Startups

Bengaluru continues to lead India’s coworking expansion, fueled by Global Capability Centres (GCCs), startups, and distributed teams. These occupiers are increasingly prioritising flexibility, scalability, and managed office solutions over traditional leases.

Commenting on the trend, James Thomas, Co-founder and Director of Marketing at SpazeOne, said, “Bengaluru is experiencing a remarkable increase in coworking infrastructure, driven by a surge in demand from GCCs, startups, and distributed teams.”

This shift reflects a broader evolution in workplace strategy, as companies seek agile, plug-and-play environments that align with hybrid work models.

Aggressive Expansion Across South India

Building on this momentum, SpazeOne has outlined an ambitious growth plan for the current fiscal year. The company aims to launch 10 additional coworking centres across South India, significantly scaling its operational footprint.

The planned expansion will add approximately 2.5 lakh sq. ft of workspace capacity, reinforcing the company’s focus on high-growth corridors. This move signals strong confidence in the region’s long-term demand for flexible workspaces.

Whitefield and Emerging Micro-Markets in Focus

Whitefield remains a central focus for SpazeOne’s expansion strategy, given its established ecosystem of IT parks, multinational companies, and growing residential catchment. At the same time, other emerging micro-markets across South India are gaining traction due to improved infrastructure and decentralised workforce trends.

Flexible workspace operators are increasingly targeting such locations to meet demand closer to where employees live, reducing commute times and enhancing productivity.

Flex Spaces Become Core to Office Strategy

SpazeOne’s expansion reflects a broader industry shift in which coworking and managed offices are no longer niche offerings but core components of enterprise real estate strategies. Businesses are adopting flexible models to optimise costs, improve agility, and scale operations efficiently.

With demand patterns evolving rapidly, operators are focusing on building networks across cities rather than concentrating solely on prime CBD locations.

Outlook: Regional Growth to Drive Next Phase

As India’s flexible workspace market matures, regional expansion is expected to play a critical role in shaping the next phase of growth. South India, led by cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai, is emerging as a key growth engine.

SpazeOne’s latest launch and expansion roadmap highlight this trend, positioning the company to capitalise on rising demand from both enterprises and startups. As workplace strategies continue to evolve, flexible workspaces are set to become an integral part of the country’s office ecosystem.
