Table Space Strengthens DESYN Leadership to Scale Enterprise Design-Build Solutions

Table Space has strengthened leadership within DESYN, its integrated Design and Build business, to accelerate growth across India’s enterprise and GCC markets. The appointments span design, commercial, and regional business functions, reinforcing DESYN’s strategy to deliver scalable, technology-led, and high-quality workplace solutions as demand for agile office environments continues to rise.

Table Space is reinforcing its Design and Build ambitions with a fresh leadership structure at DESYN, the company’s integrated workplace solutions platform. The move comes as enterprises and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) increasingly seek workplace partners capable of delivering agile, scalable, and execution-driven office environments.

Created as an extension of Table Space’s broader workspace portfolio, DESYN focuses on providing technology-enabled Design and Build solutions that help businesses deploy high-quality workspaces faster and more efficiently. The company believes this capability is becoming increasingly important as occupiers move toward flexible real estate strategies and demand quicker delivery timelines.

Senior Leadership Team Takes Shape

To support its expansion strategy, DESYN has appointed experienced professionals across design, business growth, and commercial operations.

Shruti Ookabhoy joins as Executive Director and will lead the Design vertical. Bringing over two decades of workplace strategy and design experience, she will focus on strengthening design capabilities, improving operational processes, and building teams across markets. Her previous leadership roles include positions at ANJ Group’s The Canvas, Realty Group, and Niteen Parulekar Architects.

Tripta Soni joins as Senior Director for South India and will lead regional growth and client engagement. With more than 20 years of experience across workplace design and commercial interiors, she brings expertise spanning enterprise, retail, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. Her professional background includes leadership positions at Brookfield Properties, Karle Infra, DSP Design Associates, and RSP Design Consultants.

Strengthening Regional and Commercial Leadership

Meanwhile, Abhishek Kumar takes charge of North India operations as Senior Director, focusing on business expansion and client partnerships. With nearly two decades of experience across corporate interiors and design-build businesses, Kumar has previously worked with Space Matrix, Cheil India, Cushman & Wakefield, and JLL.

DESYN has also appointed Brijesh Khambhayata to lead its Commercial function. His role will centre on procurement efficiency, cost optimisation, and commercial governance, supported by over 15 years of experience in sourcing, contracts, and commercial operations.

Responding to Enterprise and GCC Demand

According to Table Space, these appointments are part of a broader strategy to build a stronger operating model capable of supporting enterprise and GCC expansion across India.

Commenting on the appointments, Karan Chopra, Chairman and Co-CEO of Table Space, said, “These appointments reflect our commitment to building a strong and future-ready leadership team for DESYN.” He added that the collective experience of the new leadership team will play an important role in strengthening DESYN’s market position and supporting long-term business ambitions.

Chopra further noted, “As enterprises continue to reimagine workplaces, there is increasing demand for partners who can deliver quality, speed, and consistency at scale.” He believes DESYN is well-positioned to address this opportunity by combining leadership depth with the broader capabilities of the Table Space platform.

Building the Future of Enterprise Workspaces

The expansion of DESYN reflects a larger trend across India’s office market, where occupiers increasingly prefer integrated workplace partners rather than fragmented vendor networks. As workspace design, delivery, and operations become more closely connected, companies offering end-to-end solutions are expected to gain greater relevance.

With more than 11 million square feet of managed workspace and over 425 enterprise clients, Table Space appears focused on expanding its footprint beyond managed offices into full-scale workplace delivery solutions for the next generation of enterprise occupiers.
