WeWork India Adds 2.25 Lakh Sq Ft Across Bengaluru and Pune With New Centres

WeWork India has opened new centres in Whitefield, Bengaluru, and Wakad, Pune, adding around 2.25 lakh sq. ft. and more than 4,500 desks. The expansion strengthens its presence in two major commercial corridors while highlighting the growing importance of connectivity, access to talent, residential catchments, and workplace amenities.

WeWork India has expanded its flexible workspace footprint in Bengaluru and Pune with the opening of WeWork Infinix Palladium in Whitefield and WeWork Millennium Towers in Wakad. Together, the centres add around 2.25 lakh sq. ft. and more than 4,500 desks.

The expansion comes as companies increasingly look beyond the office building itself when selecting workplace locations. Access to talent, residential areas, public transport, major roads, and retail and everyday amenities is becoming an important factor in workplace strategy.

The two locations offer different propositions. Whitefield provides enterprise-scale office capacity in an established technology and commercial district, while Wakad connects businesses with a growing employment and residential ecosystem in West Pune.

Whitefield Centre Adds Enterprise-Scale Capacity

WeWork Infinix Palladium strengthens the operator’s presence in Whitefield, one of Bengaluru’s major office markets. The area has evolved beyond its traditional technology identity, with commercial clusters across ITPL, EPIP, Hoodi, and Brookefield, supported by residential and social infrastructure.

Located about four minutes from Singayyanapalya Metro Station, the standalone centre spans around 1.7 lakh sq. ft. across the ground to sixth floors and a terrace. It offers more than 3,100 desks, allowing larger teams to consolidate their operations in a single workplace.

As of Q1 FY27, WeWork India had 30 centres across Bengaluru, covering 3.3 million sq. ft. and 51,700 desks.

Wakad Expansion Targets Growing Enterprise Demand

The new Millennium Towers centre marks WeWork India’s entry into Wakad, a key West Pune micro-market positioned between the Hinjewadi employment hub and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

The centre spans around 55,000 sq. ft. across the 16th and 17th floors and offers about 1,400 desks. The location also has access to retail, dining and recreational facilities. WeWork India has already leased nearly 1.8 lakh sq. ft. to enterprise clients through its Managed Office offering at the same asset.

The building is LEED Platinum-certified and includes features such as solar power, smart building management systems, rainwater harvesting, and zero-waste management.

Flexible Workspaces Move Closer to Talent

Arnav S. Gusain, Chief Supply Officer at WeWork India and CEO of Rivet by WeWork India, said, “The definition of a prime business location is changing.” He added that businesses are increasingly assessing how easily employees can move between where they live, where they work, and where they spend their time.

Both centres are designed for enterprises, GCCs and growing businesses, with private offices, meeting rooms and technology-enabled facilities alongside wellness, food and recreation amenities.

The expansion also reflects a wider trend in India’s flexible workspace market. As employment hubs spread across city corridors, operators are increasingly placing workspaces closer to residential catchments and transport links.

With the two openings, WeWork India continues to expand across key commercial markets while offering businesses greater flexibility to scale their office footprint in response to changing workforce and location requirements.
